Today there are so many things you can do to help others, you can join Me2We or Kidz 4 Kidz to fundraise to send children to school.

You can help with a booksale for WarChild Canada, in Toronto you can serve food to kids at the Breakfast Club….

There are so many things that you can do to help others today. And while we act in order to serve others, we also do acts of service because Christ told us to take care of the poor, the sick, and the vulnerable (people that are defenseless).

So, on……

Thursday, March 11^th @ 6:30pm

in the Francis Room we are starting

‘Reach Out’ as a group where we can;

-Share about what we are doing at our school to help others

-Talk about things we want to do at the parish to help others

-Listen to guest speakers share about their experiences in volunteering and working for the poor

But this group isn’t just about talking….we’re about action.

Besides a meeting once a month, we will do an act of service in Toronto, once a month, to help others.

So I invite you to step up during this Lenten season of service and join this group!

You will receive volunteer hours for the meeting and the service activity, but more than that, you will be helping someone get a meal, or just to feel loved and cared for.
